Early in the season Jeremy Lin was cut by two teams – Golden State and Houston, both because of salary cap measures as they tried to acquire DeAndre Jordan and Samuel Dalembert respectively. In the first week of the season New York picked him up of the waivers because of an injury to Iman Shumpert, now he is being hailed as the savior of the New York Knicks.
Heck, if Spike Lee wears your jersey, you must be doing something right and Jeremy Lin is certainly doing so in leading the New York Knicks to a 9-2 record in the last 11 games. He literally came out of nowhere to become the star PG of the Knicks… and perhaps the Most Improved Player this season.
